projects are coming to the forefront of the design and construction
industry. The value, cost, and time savings derived from integrating
design and construction services is now widely accepted. Yet many
design and construction practitioners lack a basic understanding of each
others role, business approaches, and work cultures. Without an
understanding of the motivations and challenges driving each member of
the project team, it is difficult to effectively manage the Design-Build
process. This class lays out the processes associated with successful
management of design within an integrated delivery framework.
