Early Subcontractor Selection on GC/CM Projects

The following projects are using the early selection process for mechanical and electrical subcontractors permitted by RCW 39.10.385:

• University of Washington:  UW Bothell Campus, Phase 3.  Lease Crutcher Lewis

• Sound Transit:  University of Washington Station.  Hoffman Construction

• University of Washington:  Student Housing Lander Hall Replacement Project.  Walsh Construction.

• Vashon School District #402:  Vashon High School Replacement.  Skanska USA Building, Inc. 

• Sound Transit:  Capitol Hill Station.  Turner Construction.

• Pierce County:  Chambers Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project (for Electrical Subcontractor only).  M.A. Mortenson Construction Company.

• Sound Transit:  University Link Rail and Systems Project (for Electrical Subcontractor for Track Electrification System and 26kV Power Distribution System only).  Stacy and Witbeck, Inc.

• Sound Transit:  University Link Rail and Systems Project (for Electrical Subcontractor for Communication Systems and SCADA Systems only).  Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. 

This process is sometimes referred to as EC/CM (Electrical Contractor/Construction Manager) or MC/CM (Mechanical Contractor/Construction Manager).
