The Port of Tacoma is the latest victim of the difficult economic times. On Monday, May 18, 2009, the Port notified five contract administrators that they will loose their jobs effective July 30, 2009. The five positions are part of a total of 47 positions the Port is eliminating and represents 18 percent of the Port's workforce.
